The Best Margarita
When the weather heats up and you want something cold, fizzy, and effortlessly refreshing, this margarita hits all the right notes. Made with frozen limeade concentrate, a splash of tequila, crisp light beer, and bubbly Sprite Zero, it’s a shortcut cocktail that doesn’t taste like one. The limeade brings bold citrus flavor, the soda and beer add a light, sparkling finish, and the tequila ties it all together with that classic margarita kick. It’s easy, unexpected, and perfect for laid-back afternoons when complicated recipes are the last thing on your mind.

What you need to make this easy cocktail
- Frozen Limeade Concentrate
- I use this one from my local grocery store
- Sprite
- I like to use Sprite Zero to cut down on the sugar
- Beer
- I always use a light beer because that’s what I have on hand.
- Tequila
- My preference is a blanco tequila
How to make these margaritas
This recipe couldn’t be any simpler. All you do is mix a few ingredients in a pitcher, and you’ve got a cocktail for a crowd.
Start by placing the entire can of limeade into the pitcher. To the limeade add in the tequila, beer and sprite.
Stir to make sure all the ingredients are combined. Serve over ice in a glass with a salted rim and a lime wedge.
Enjoy!
